'Avec Harmonie' Belgian Shepherds is pleased to announce the combination of 'Peindre au Vif' and 'Sidekicks.'

Chris and Lisa Aliapoulios have been cooperating with Russ Beach and Larry Hostetler since 1996. This teamwork has led us to combine our breeding program. Together we function harmoniously as a team. Our combined 60+ years of experience in Belgian Shepherd Dogs provides us each with unique opinions. Despite this we share a common ideal - the harmonious Belgian Shepherd.

We are committed to improving health in the BSD as evidenced by our elimination of high profile dogs from our breeding program.

Our ideal character combines individual traits of the 50+ BSD we have lived with over time. We aim to combine the best character traits with the ultimate goal of producing dogs that receive and provide joy from/to their masters.

In conformation we believe the BSD is a natural harmonious dog. The dog should not appear as a sum of individual parts, rather that there is no part of the animal out of place or does not fit the rest.

Chris and Lisa Aliapoulios live in Bonn, Germany while Russ Beach and Larry Hostetler live in Zanesville Ohio. You will find our dogs primarily in Europe and in the USA.

Our new breeding affix 'Avec Harmonie' represents our picture of the ideal BSD as well as how we operate together as a team. The combined whole is much greater than the sum of the parts.
